President of Uzbekistan to Pay Official Visit to Serbia on September 7–8

TASHKENT, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. At the invitation of President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Serbia on September 7-8, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, in accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Belgrade, along with a business forum involving official and business representatives from both countries.

The agenda will focus on further strengthening the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Serbia.

Particular attention will be given to expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation and implementing joint projects in priority sectors such as transport, mechanical engineering, light and food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and information technology.

The sides will also discuss establishing cooperation in the field of organized labour migration and expanding interregional, cultural, and humanitarian ties.

Following the summit, a substantial package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements is expected to be adopted.
