ТАSHKENT, July 10. /Dunyo IA/.   Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the First International Forum of Islamic Civilization, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at the beginning of the meeting, President of Uzbekistan expressed his gratitude for the book “The Highest Point of Brotherhood and Alliance,” presented by the Sheikh-ul-Islam, which is dedicated to the joint efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

During the conversation, parties discussed issues related to further strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, enhancing the spiritual education of young people and other topics.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward important proposals aimed at taking bilateral cultural and educational cooperation to a new level.

The parties noted the need to combine scientific expertise in the use of digital platforms and interactive educational tools to explain the true humanistic essence of Islam to young people in clear and engaging language.

In conclusion, President of Uzbekistan presented Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade with the “El-yurt hurmati” Order of Uzbekistan in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Islamic scholarship.
