AL-KUWAIT, October 5. /Dunyo IA/.   In the first days of October this year, leading Kuwaiti media outlets published a series of analytical materials covering the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence, the current state of relations between the two countries and prospects for further cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, “Al-Anba”, “Al-Jarida” and “Al-Rai” publications paid particular attention to Uzbekistan’s efforts to further expand its partnership with Kuwait in the fields of economy, investment, tourism and technology. Articles highlighted Kuwait’s active participation in supporting development projects in Uzbekistan, particularly the role of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, as well as the 30-day visa-free regime introduced in Uzbekistan for Kuwaiti citizens, as important factors contributing to the strengthening of bilateral ties.

“Al-Khaleej” and “Kuwait News” Information Agencies also provided extensive coverage of the official reception hosted by the Embassy of Uzbekistan to mark the 35th Anniversary of Independence, which was attended by representatives of the Kuwaiti government and heads of the diplomatic corps. “The Times Kuwait” Newspaper also published a special article dedicated to the occasion, highlighting the significant potential for expanding economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, as well as in the fields of tourism and modern technologies.

Articles published by Kuwaiti media outlets portrayed Uzbekistan as a rapidly developing modern state that is open to foreign investment and broad-based cooperation and committed to strengthening a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with Kuwait.
