YEKATERINBURG, August 26. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan continues to take systematic measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens who find themselves in difficult circumstances in Russia, reports Dunyo correspondent.

In particular, a local resident contacted the Consulate General, reporting that an Uzbek citizen, O.V., a native of Navoi Region, had been without accommodation for several days and was forced to spend nights outdoors due to the lack of suitable living conditions.

The Consulate General promptly responded to the appeal, and its staff held a consultation with O.V.

After establishing his identity and clarifying the circumstances of the situation, consular officials contacted his relatives and took the necessary measures to ensure his safe return to his permanent place of residence.

With the assistance of the Consulate General, the compatriot safely returned to Tashkent on a flight from Yekaterinburg.
