Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan and the Ambassador of Belarus discuss prospects for practical cooperation in the Afghan direction

TASHKENT, April 28. /Dunyo IA/. The Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held a meeting today with the Ambassador of Belarus Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the MFA, during the talks, the parties discussed prospects for practical cooperation regarding Afghanistan, as well as certain issues on the Uzbek–Belarusian bilateral agenda.
The sides expressed hope for the further strengthening of mutual cooperation and the continuation of a constructive dialogue on Afghanistan.
It is worth noting that on June 14, 2025, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Belarus, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Maxim Ryzhenkov, jointly visited Uzbekistan-Afghanistan border area and Termez International Trade Center.
