ISLAMABAD, September 2. /Dunyo IA/. A group of students from higher education institutions in Uzbekistan is taking part in educational and practical training sessions at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In order to build a pool of mature and qualified personnel for foreign policy activities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has established a practice of sending talented students majoring in international relations and international economic relations to undertake internships at the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.

As part of this initiative, a group of students from Tashkent State University of Economics and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies is gaining professional practical experience at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan.

The students are comprehensively studying the main areas of the Embassy’s activities, day-to-day diplomatic work, as well as practical aspects of international relations. They are also involved in applying diplomatic protocol rules, practical mechanisms for implementing international law, and developing political and economic initiatives and proposals aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

At the same time, the students are enhancing their knowledge of negotiation techniques, diplomatic correspondence procedures, and the exchange of official correspondence and diplomatic notes.

The student interns are also actively involved in preparing and conducting events organized by the Embassy in Pakistan to mark the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence.

Practical training for students of Uzbek universities at the country’s diplomatic missions abroad not only provides them with an opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, but also helps develop skills that meet the requirements of modern diplomacy.

The educational and practical training sessions for students of Tashkent State University of Economics and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies at the Embassy in Pakistan will continue until September 12.
