Customs Services of Uzbekistan and Russia sign memorandum at WCO Global Forum

MOSCOW, September 10. /Dunyo IA/. Customs services of Uzbekistan and Russia signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the 7th Global Canine Forum of the World Customs Organization (WCO), which took place in Tashkent on September 7–9th, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, document was concluded between the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Canine Department of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Memorandum defines the key areas of interaction between the parties for both the current stage and the future.
Forum, hosted in Tashkent for the first time, was attended by representatives of the customs services from more than 50 countries. The participants discussed sector-specific challenges, customs security, the training of canine specialists, as well as the instruction and practical deployment of service dogs.
