Bodies of three citizens of Uzbekistan who tragically lost their lives in a road traffic accident in the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan repatriated to their homeland

ALMATY, August 25. /Dunyo IA/. On August 22nd, a road traffic accident involving citizens of Uzbekistan occurred on the Aksay section of the Shymkent–Samara highway, located within the territory of Kyzylorda in the Kyzylorda Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
As a result of the accident, three citizens of Uzbekistan tragically died at the scene. According to preliminary data from local law enforcement agencies, the potential cause of the accident was the driver falling asleep at the wheel, which led to a collision with a cargo vehicle.
Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Almaty, in coordination with the Migration Agency, took all necessary measures to arrange the swift repatriation of the deceased citizens’ bodies to their homeland. In particular, the issue of processing all required documentation and ensuring the timely delivery of the bodies of the three deceased citizens of Uzbekistan to their permanent place of residence - city of Bekabad, Tashkent Region was promptly addressed in cooperation with the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
