KUWAIT CITY, July 30. /Dunyo IA/. Another consignment of domestic agricultural produce has been delivered to Kuwait and new agreements have been reached to expand the supply of Uzbek products to the Kuwaiti market, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Embassy of Uzbekistan consistently facilitates the promotion of national goods, the diversification of export destinations and the establishment of direct links between domestic producers and foreign partners.

Within the framework of the contract between the Kuwaiti company “Suma Fruits” and the Uzbek enterprise “Globuz Marketing”, nearly two tons of fresh fruit and vegetable products were delivered to Kuwait on July 29 via two air shipments along the Tashkent–Sharjah–Kuwait and Tashkent–Muscat–Kuwait routes.

Furthermore, on July 27–28^th, virtual negotiations were organized for the first time between the Uzbek company “Diamond Hills” and the Kuwaiti firms “Suma Fruits” and “Starfruit” to discuss the export of agricultural and food products.

Parties discussed prospects for expanding supplies, product certification issues, the clearance of sanitary and hygienic permits, and logistical support for exports. Representatives of the Kuwaiti companies expressed their interest in long-term cooperation with Uzbek exporters capable of ensuring stable supplies of high-quality products.

Following the negotiations, the product catalog of “Diamond Hills” was presented to the foreign partners. Upon its review, the sides agreed to proceed to the next stage of talks, aimed at launching practical cooperation.
