TOKYO, September 5. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan took part in the international business forum “RENKETSU Conference 2026,” reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event, organized by the International Business Connectivity Organization, brought together around 200 business representatives, investors and international trade experts from Asian and Central Asian countries, the Middle East and Japan.

As part of the forum, a presentation titled “Reform Achievements, Economic Potential, Investment and Trade Opportunities in New Uzbekistan” was held. Japanese entrepreneurs were provided with information on the macroeconomic reforms underway in the country, the favourable business environment and Uzbekistan’s strategic location as a regional hub.

The diplomats paid particular attention to priority areas for attracting Japanese technologies and investment, including energy and renewable energy, critical minerals extraction, the chemical, textile and food industries, as well as the IT sector. The prospects for developing mutual exports of high-value-added agricultural and industrial products were also highlighted.

Following participation in the business forum, agreements were reached to develop direct contacts with Japanese business circles to implement joint investment projects and expand export supplies from Uzbekistan.
