Almaty hosts the Festival of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan with a Presentation of Uzbek Culture

• 89ALMATY, September 15. /Dunyo IA/. A cultural and educational festival dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan was held at the “Bilim-Innovation” Lyceum in Almaty, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event was organized with the support of the General Consulate of Uzbekistan, with the participation of teachers, students of the lyceum, and their parents. The main goal was to promote the languages, cultures, and national values of different peoples, as well as to strengthen interethnic harmony and mutual respect.
As part of the festival, students presented a special program dedicated to Uzbek culture and traditions. The guests enjoyed national dances, watched videos about the history, culture, values and sights of Uzbekistan and received informational and promotional materials.
A separate part of the program was dedicated to Uzbek national cuisine. Guests were served samsa, tandoor bread, national sweets, pilaf and other dishes, along with stories about their unique preparation methods and significance in Uzbek gastronomic traditions.
A specially designed cake prepared by the students, featuring images of Uzbekistan's symbols, historical sites and landmarks, left a lasting impression on everyone.
At the conclusion of the event, guests had the opportunity to taste national dishes and get a closer look at the rich gastronomic heritage of Uzbekistan. The festival successfully contributed to popularizing the cultural and historical heritage, language, and traditions of the country, while also strengthening friendship, mutual respect and harmony among the diverse ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan.
