LANZHOU, July 14. /Dunyo IA/.  Embassy of Uzbekistan in China held a comprehensive presentation in Lanzhou, dedicated to the trade, economic, expert, and investment potential of our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event, organized with the support of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Counselors' Office of the People's Government of Gansu Province, was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, international organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, industry associations, Chinese enterprises, legal institutions, as well as business circles from China and Central Asian countries.

Within the framework of the presentation, detailed information was provided on Uzbekistan’s export-import potential, opportunities for supplying competitive products to the Chinese market, the needs of the republic's domestic market, as well as promising directions for industrial and investment cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of increasing the export of Uzbek fruit and vegetable, food, textile, leather and footwear, chemical and other finished products to Gansu Province.

During the negotiations, practical measures were discussed to further expand mutual trade, establish direct contacts between entrepreneurs from the regions of Uzbekistan and Gansu Province, promote Uzbek products and attract Chinese business circles to implement investment and industrial projects in our republic.

Following the event, an agreement was reached to compile a list of interested Uzbek and Chinese companies and to organize targeted B2B negotiations across specific product sectors.

The Chinese side expressed its readiness to facilitate the attraction of relevant Gansu companies interested in importing Uzbek products, establishing trade partnerships and implementing joint projects.

Parties also agreed to continue exchanging information on promising commodities, investment proposals, and business requirements, as well as to elaborate on organizing mutual business missions, presentations and corporate meetings between the enterprises of both sides.
