London Talks Yield Practical Agreements with Leading UK University

LONDON, May 25. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives from Tashkent’s “Renaissance” University have concluded a working visit to London, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The agenda featured several high-level meetings aimed at advancing partnership initiatives with the “University of Greenwich”. Established in 1890, Greenwich currently educates approximately 30,000 students. In this year's global assessments, it holds the 601–800 bracket in the THE World University Rankings and 691–700 in the QS World University Rankings.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to launch joint educational programs in five areas: international relations, economics, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, as well as English language and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Furthermore, starting this year, 25 faculty members from “Renaissance” University will undergo professional development courses at the University of Greenwich.
Preliminary agreements were also reached to provide full grants for 10 “Renaissance” University students to continue their studies at the University of Greenwich.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, implementing action-oriented joint projects and maintaining a regular dialogue moving forward.
