MADRID-BARCELONA, June 13. /Dunyo IA/. A forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain took place in Madrid and Barcelona, bringing together more than 100 representatives of universities from the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the plenary sessions and discussions, the participants discussed issues of training highly qualified personnel, implementing modern educational technologies, raising the professional level of students and teachers, as well as strengthening cooperation between the scientific and educational communities of the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to the development of academic mobility, the implementation of joint educational programs, short-term internships, mutual lectures, seminars and master classes.

Within the framework of the forum, bilateral meetings of the heads of universities of Uzbekistan and Spain took place. During the negotiations, agreements were reached on the implementation of new projects, and cooperation agreements were signed, providing for the development of academic and scientific ties, conducting joint research and exchanging experience.

Participants noted the high potential of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain in the field of higher education and expressed interest in further expanding partnerships between the universities of the two countries.
