Israel hosts presentation showcasing the cultural and tourism potential of New Uzbekistan

• 27NAZARETH, June 13. /Dunyo IA/. A round table titled “Culture of Peoples, Dialogue, Cooperation and Common Outlook” dedicated to international relations took place in the city of Nazareth, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Forum of Arab Cultural Organizations. It was attended by diplomats from the embassies of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Japan, Belgium, Australia, the Netherlands, the Philippines and Poland, heads of local cultural organizations in Arab localities of Israel, as well as representatives of tourism companies.
Within the framework of the event, the Embassy of our country presented a presentation titled “New Uzbekistan”. Diplomats detailed the state policy on the development of the cultural sphere, the ongoing reforms, and the created conditions.
Special attention was paid to the role of Uzbekistan in the Islamic world, its rich religious heritage, as well as the scientific contribution of Imam al-Bukhari and other scholars. Information was also presented on the activities of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand.
In addition, information was presented to the participants on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, including historic cities, religious and gastronomic tourism, as well as air connectivity options.
Particular attention was paid to the personality of Amir Temur, his contribution to the development of science, culture and art. It was noted that the 690th anniversary of his birth is being widely celebrated this year.
Director of the Arab Council for International Relations in Israel, Khalid Khalifa, noted that in October 2025, representatives of the organization visited Uzbekistan and highly praised the tourism potential of the country.
The event was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. The participants highly appreciated the achievements of Uzbekistan and expressed interest in developing long-term cooperation.
