Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan discussed expanded frameworks for the Organized Employment of Uzbek citizens in Lithuania

ТАSHKENT, September 10. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, as part of efforts to expand the geography of legal and organized labour migration and diversify its destinations, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev held a meeting with Albertas Sitavichius, Director of Lithuania’s international transport company “TVG Group”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, talks focused on expanding organized employment opportunities in Lithuania for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, training professional drivers of heavy-duty vehicles, as well as developing joint measures to prevent irregular migration.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation and continuing practical engagement in the identified areas.
