MUSCAT, September 16. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Khatamov met with Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Oman Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further developing cooperation between the two nations in the fields of culture, sports, and youth affairs.

Minister noted the consistent development of relations with Uzbekistan across all areas, emphasizing that the peoples of the two countries are united by a shared history, religion, values, traditions and a rich cultural heritage.

Parties agreed to expand delegation exchanges in the fields of culture, sports, and youth affairs, as well as to implement new practical projects.

Special consideration was given to the initiative to hold Uzbekistan Culture Days in Muscat. The Omani side expressed its readiness to provide practical assistance in organizing the event.
