ISLAMABAD, August 27. /Dunyo IA/. On the eve of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Tourism Days will be organized in the capital of Pakistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event program includes a series of roadshows, presentations, concert programs featuring masters of Uzbek art, as well as spiritual, educational, cultural and promotional events.

In particular, a festive concert titled “Uzbekistan-Pakistan: Melodies of Friendship and Brotherhood” is scheduled to take place at the National Art Gallery on August 29th. This cultural event will serve to further strengthen the shared history, common spiritual values, friendship and brotherhood that have historically bound the two nations.

On August 30th, a flash mob will be held at the Centaurus Mall Islamabad shopping and entertainment complex, showcasing Uzbekistan's national culture, customs, traditions and festive spirit to the general public.

Through this event, residents and guests of the capital will be able to become closely acquainted with the modern appearance, national attire and cultural charm of our country.

On August 31st, a large-scale roadshow themed “Uzbekistan: The Crossroads of History and the Future” will be organized at the Islamabad Marriott Hotel.

Within the framework of the event, the vast tourism potential of our country, its ancient and eternally young cities, unique historical and architectural monuments, peerless nature, modern tourism infrastructure and the traditions of hospitality of our people will be widely demonstrated.

In addition, the roadshow will feature “Uzbekistan Tourism Award” ceremony to honour representatives of travel agencies, tour companies, and partner organizations that make a worthy contribution to promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism sector in Pakistan and developing tourism ties between the two countries.

During the events held within the framework of the Uzbekistan Tourism Days, special attention will be paid to widely disseminating among the Pakistani public the achievements of our country over the years of independence, ongoing large-scale reforms, rich historical and cultural heritage, the available tourism opportunities and the rapid development of modern Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, the main festive event and official reception dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan is scheduled to take place on September 1st in the city of Islamabad.
