Uzbekistan’s tourism potential showcased on large screens in Beijing

• 66BEIJING, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. As part of celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, videos showcasing the country’s tourism potential are being screened on large screens in Beijing, a Dunyo IA correspondent reports.
The screenings are organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China jointly with the Tourism Committee on a large 3D LED screen at the Solana shopping and entertainment center. The initiative aims to introduce Beijing residents to Uzbekistan’s tourism opportunities and increase the flow of Chinese tourists to the country.
Opened in 2008, Solana is one of Beijing’s major and popular shopping and entertainment centers. It attracts more than 100,000 Chinese and foreign visitors every day.
The videos showcase Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, culture and traditions, historical landmarks, as well as the country’s modern development. Similar screenings are planned to be organized in other cities across China.
Li Shusheng, Director of Beijing Yuanjingjie Media Co., Ltd., congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the 35th anniversary of independence and noted that the video introduces Chinese and foreign visitors to Uzbekistan’s unique cities, cultural and tourism attractions, as well as the opportunity for Chinese citizens to visit the country visa-free for up to 30 days.
Wang Mingxing, a visitor to Solana, said after watching the video that she would like to visit Uzbekistan and see its landmarks in person. She also highlighted the hospitality of the Uzbek people and the diversity of the country’s national cuisine.
According to Wang Mingxing, the opportunity to stay in Uzbekistan visa-free for up to 30 days makes travel to the country even more attractive for Chinese tourists. She also extended her congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on Independence Day.
