Presentations honoring prominent Uzbek Figures held at at higher educational institutions in Saudi Arabia

In the administrative center of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, presentations were held dedicated to the life and work of prominent representatives of the Uzbek people, specifically: on Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur at the Institute of Public Administration and a session on Alisher Navoi at “Alasala” University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The events were initiated and organized by Ayten Alkahtani, a citizen of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
Students were provided with comprehensive information on the significance of Alisher Navoi as the founder of Turkic-language literature, a thinker and a public figure, as well as on the role of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur as a statesman, military leader and poet. Particular attention was given to their contributions to the development of statehood, literature, culture and humanistic values, which have influenced the history and civilizational processes of Central and South Asia.
The materials were aimed at broadening students’ knowledge of Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage and highlighting its role in shaping the intellectual and spiritual traditions of the East.
