During the training, it was noted that in 2025, 366,000 families in Uzbekistan rose above the poverty line, and as a result of measures to ensure employment and increase household incomes, the poverty rate decreased from 8.9% to 5.8%, while the unemployment rate fell from 5.5% to 4.8%.
Participants were briefed on the 2026 target of providing stable employment for 1 million people. At the current stage, enhancing the specialization of mahallas is seen as a key factor in reducing unemployment and poverty.
