ТASHKENT, January 16. /Dunyo IA/. One of the kingdom’s oldest residents, Nasser bin Radan Al Rashid Al Wadaei, has passed away at the age of 142, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing the National Information Agency of Tajikistan - “Khovar”.
The family of Nasser bin Radan Al Rashid Al Wadaei, who reportedly passed away at the age of 142, stated that he was born in 1884 and lived nearly a century and a half, witnessing profound historical changes in the region. He saw the formation of modern Saudi Arabia and the reigns of all the country’s monarchs, from Abdulaziz ibn Abdulrahman Al Saud to the current King Salman ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Nasser bin Radan Al Rashid Al Wadaei was married three times, with his last marriage reportedly taking place when he was 110 years old. According to his family, he leaves behind 134 children and grandchildren.
Relatives emphasized that he remained socially active and engaged in his community until his later years. They also attributed his longevity to his lifestyle and diet, which was predominantly plant-based.
His passing has drawn attention in local media and on social networks. While his exact age has not been officially verified by independent demographic authorities, family accounts and reports in the national press have been widely cited in international media outlets.
