Uzbekistan to Train Specialists for KAMAZ

TASHKENT, August 20. /Dunyo IA/. Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has proposed that KAMAZ establish an International Automotive Engineering School in the republic to train specialists for Russian automobile plants, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing Kommersant.
The initiative was discussed by KAMAZ leadership and representatives of the Migration Agency’s branch in Navoi Region. The school is expected to be established in Khatyrchi District.
Graduates are expected to receive certificates recognized in Russia, particularly at KAMAZ facilities. Training is planned under a dual education system in cooperation with Uzbek technical colleges.
The parties also paid particular attention to the safe and organized employment of citizens of Uzbekistan at KAMAZ enterprises.
The Migration Agency and KAMAZ signed a cooperation agreement in March 2025. The parties agreed to jointly organize the recruitment of specialists in Uzbekistan. Around 500 Uzbek citizens currently work at KAMAZ enterprises. Truck production has also been established in Uzbekistan at the “UzAutoTrailer” facility.
