ABU DHABI, August 20. /Dunyo IA/.   Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev met with Khaled Al Huraimel, Group Chief Executive Officer of “BEEAH Group”, one of the leading companies in the United Arab Emirates in the field of waste management, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties discussed the UAE's advanced experience in waste collection, sorting and recycling, its effective utilization, the introduction of modern digital technologies, as well as waste-to-energy power generation.

During the meeting, the leadership of “BEEAH Group” expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan based on public-private partnership models.

In particular, the proposed areas of cooperation included the creation of a secondary raw materials base for industrial enterprises through waste recycling, introduction of “Smart Waste Collection” systems for the digital monitoring of waste collection and transit, as well as exploring waste-to-energy power generation opportunities using advanced “Waste-to-Energy” technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on developing cooperation and to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the possibilities for implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan.

In particular, 'BEEAH Group' plans to submit proposals for a potential cooperation model in the near future conduct online negotiations involving interested organizations by the end of August and organize a visit of the company's leadership to Uzbekistan in the second half of September.

This cooperation is expected to contribute to the modernization of the waste management and recycling system in Uzbekistan, expand the utilization of secondary raw materials and facilitate the introduction of modern environmental technologies.
