ТASHKENT, January 19. /Dunyo IA/. From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan exported 3,800 tonnes of lemons to 11 foreign countries, generating USD 5.4 million in revenue, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Compared to the same period last year, exports increased by 764 tonnes, representing a 25% growth. This positive trend reflects the rising export potential of Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable products and the growing demand for Uzbek lemons in international markets.
According to the National Statistics Committee, the largest importers of Uzbek lemons during the reporting period were Kazakhstan (1,827 tonnes) and Russia (1,740 tonnes). Significant volumes were also shipped to Kyrgyzstan (236.5 tonnes). Exports were carried out to other countries as well, including Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and several other nations.
The growth in Uzbek lemon exports underscores the competitiveness of the country’s agricultural products and reflects the ongoing efforts to expand foreign markets, strengthen trade ties and promote the national agricultural brand internationally.
