“Ambasador” Magazine: Reforms implemented in Uzbekistan strengthen the country's position as a reliable partner for foreign investors

WARSAW, July 15. /Dunyo IA/.  Official website of the Polish magazine “Ambasador” published an interview with Eldor Tulyakov, Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center of Uzbekistan, under the headline “Uzbekistan's Path to 2030: Digital reforms, economic modernization and partnership with Europe”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the conversation, Eldor Tulyakov spoke about the key areas of implementing the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy, socio-economic transformations underway in the country, prospects for investment cooperation with foreign partners, as well as the role of Uzbekistan in developing regional cooperation in Central Asia.

Particular attention in the interview is paid to the digital transformation of public administration. It is noted that in recent years, the list of electronic government services has been significantly expanded in the country, which has allowed to increase the transparency of the activities of state bodies, reduce administrative procedures and create more convenient conditions for citizens and business.

Speaking about the objectives of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy, the Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center emphasized that it envisages the formation of a modern competitive economy based on the development of the private sector, the implementation of large-scale infrastructure and technological projects, digitalization, “green” transition and the development of human capital.

Interview also reveals the role of the Development Strategy Center in monitoring the implementation of state reforms. According to Eldor Tulyakov, the Center's activities are aimed at organizing a dialogue between state bodies, the expert community, business, civil society institutions, and international partners, as well as preparing analytical recommendations for improving the ongoing transformations.

A separate block of the conversation is dedicated to the investment potential of Uzbekistan. Renewable energy, high-value-added industrial manufacturing, information technologies, transport and logistics, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, education and modern financial services were named among the most promising areas for foreign investors.

Significant attention is paid to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union and Poland. It is emphasized that the expansion of political dialogue and economic cooperation opens up new opportunities for the implementation of joint investment projects, technology exchange, the development of scientific and educational ties and the elimination of trade barriers.

In conclusion, “Ambasador” magazine writes that the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan, the consistent modernization of the economy, and the course towards openness to international cooperation strengthen the country's position as one of the most dynamically developing states in Central Asia and a reliable partner for foreign investors.
