ТАSHKENT, July 15. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, following the talks in Ashgabat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov signed a number of bilateral documents, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Following our negotiations, we signed a number of bilateral documents aimed at further strengthening cooperation between two countries, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - In particular, we signed: An Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Turkmenistan on Cooperation in the Field of International Information Security; A Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for 2027–2028.
The signed documents will contribute to the further institutional development of our political dialogue, the expansion of practical cooperation between our foreign ministries, and closer coordination in addressing contemporary international security challenges”.
