Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to pay official visit to Uzbekistan on April 29–30

TASHKENT, April 29. /Dunyo IA/. The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on April 29–30, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent in line with the visit program. The discussions will focus on prospects for further development of multifaceted Uzbek–Czech cooperation.

Particular attention will be given to increasing bilateral trade and deepening cooperation in mechanical engineering, green energy, the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, and transport. Issues related to cooperation in cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres will also be addressed.

The sides are expected to exchange views on international issues, including mutual support within multilateral platforms. A package of bilateral documents is scheduled to be signed following the talks.

As part of the visit, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will also take part in the Uzbek–Czech business forum.
