“London Post”: Uzbekistan and Czechia Enter a New Stage in Bilateral Relations

LONDON, April 29. /Dunyo IA/. The British news portal “London Post” has published an article dedicated to the systemic partnership between Uzbekistan and Czechia at the current stage of development, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publication notes that Uzbekistan and Czechia are entering a new phase in their relations, built on a solid foundation established over more than three decades. During this period, ties have evolved from protocol-level contacts into a systemic partnership covering political dialogue, trade, investment, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

A key institutional development was the establishment of Uzbekistan–Czech parliamentary friendship groups in both chambers of the Oliy Majlis in February 2025, aimed at strengthening legislative dialogue and ensuring continuity of interparliamentary cooperation.

The article also highlights the positive dynamics in trade and economic relations, supported by the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, whose tenth meeting was held in Prague in March 2025.

Cultural cooperation is also expanding, with Czech musical ensembles regularly participating in the “Sharq Taronalari” festival in Samarkand, while the Czech–Uzbek Friendship Society in Prague serves as an active platform for people-to-people diplomacy.

The publication concludes that Czechia is emerging as an important strategic partner for Uzbekistan in Europe, with growing potential for deeper industrial cooperation and long-term technological projects.
