ТАSHKENT, September 7. /Dunyo IA/. Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from China led by Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

 According to the press service of the Head of our State, distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from President of China Xi Jinping to the President of Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed further expanding multifaceted and practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in line with agreements reached at the highest level.

They expressed satisfaction with the high level of the all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China achieved in recent years.

Mutual trade and investment continue to grow steadily, while the number of joint projects and enterprises involving leading Chinese companies is increasing.

Special attention was given to strengthening interparliamentary and interparty cooperation.

The sides emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in higher and vocational education, including the opening of branches of leading Chinese universities in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to adopt a joint “roadmap” to expand interparliamentary and interparty cooperation.
