ТASHKENT, March 4. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, the sides noted that the escalating situation, growing conflicts and contradictions in the Middle East are a cause for serious concern.

It was emphasized that such actions, taking place during the holy month of Ramadan, contradict the principles of international law. The need for the immediate cessation of any actions posing a threat to peace and stability was noted.

The Head of our State expressed solidarity with and support for the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates, a strategic partner and close partner of Uzbekistan.

President also expressed gratitude for the practical assistance being provided to the citizens of Uzbekistan currently in the United Arab Emirates and for the measures being taken to facilitate their return home.

In turn, President of the UAE expressed deep gratitude to the Leader of Uzbekistan for the sincere support, brotherly respect and solidarity shown during this difficult period.
