On the sidelines of the Uzbekistan – France Business Forum, held as part of the official visit of the President of France Emmanuel Macron in Samarkand city, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Orano, Claude Imauven, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of state, Orano is the world’s largest producer of uranium and nuclear fuel, with assets of 29 billion euros.
The initiatives to enhance collaboration in geological exploration and uranium mining were supported at the meeting.
