TASHKENT, September 22. /Dunyo IA/.  The 16^th International Exhibition “Plastics Industry – Plastex Uzbekistan 2026” opened today at the “Uzexpocentre” National Exhibition Centre, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

More than 250 companies and brands from 11 countries, including Austria, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, China, Latvia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Uzbekistan, are taking part in the exhibition. The event is organised by the international exhibition company Iteca Exhibitions in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group, with official support from “Uzkimyosanoat” JSC.

Exhibition brings together equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers, plastics processors, engineers and executives from the polymer industry. Participants are showcasing modern solutions for plastics production and processing, polymer raw materials and speciality additives, moulds, auxiliary equipment, as well as technologies for the packaging and processing industries.

Exhibition’s practical focus enables visitors to see equipment in operation, receive expert consultations and discuss prospects for technological cooperation directly with manufacturers and suppliers.

In 2026, Plastex Uzbekistan is being held jointly with the 4P Central Asia exhibition, which brings together the printing, packaging, plastics and polymers sectors. This format creates opportunities for establishing business contacts between companies from interconnected industries and finding integrated production solutions.

Exhibition contributes to the development of international industrial cooperation, the introduction of advanced technologies and the expansion of opportunities for production localisation in Uzbekistan. For foreign companies, the event also provides a platform to explore the needs of the regional market and establish direct contacts with potential business partners.
