MEXICO, June 16. /Dunyo IA/.  A presentation dedicated to the tourism and cultural potential of Uzbekistan was held at the “Global Village” pavilion in the capital of Mexico, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Culture, Tourism Committee, as well as the Embassy of our country in the United States.

Within the framework of the event, thousands of guests and football fans from all over the world who gathered in Mexico were provided with information on the rich history of Uzbekistan, its cultural heritage, national traditions, and modern tourism opportunities. National musical instruments, folk dances, samples of craftsmanship and a collection of national attire were demonstrated in the pavilion.

Furthermore, the visitors were informed about the squad of the national football team of Uzbekistan, its performances on the international stage, the reforms being implemented in the country’s football sector, as well as the significance of the team’s participation in the World Cup.

Additionally, in cooperation between the Embassy and the FIFA media team, a special video report was produced to cover the event on the organization’s official information platforms and social networks.

According to representatives of the FIFA media service, the pavilion of Uzbekistan became one of the most active and visited venues of the festival.

In the city of Mexico City, within the framework of the international program “FIFA Fan Festival”, a series of performances, presentations and cultural events aimed at popularizing the cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan is scheduled.
