AARHUS, December 17. /Dunyo IA/. During a working visit to the city of Aarhus, representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan familiarized themselves with the activities of the “Uzbek Initiatives” association, which operates in the city and is aimed at uniting compatriots, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Issues discussed with representatives of the diaspora organization included its cultural and educational activities, support for youth initiatives and entrepreneurship, promotion of cultural and tourism events, engagement of the intellectual potential of compatriots in the development of Uzbekistan, as well as the implementation of social projects.

Together with the “Uzbek Initiatives” association, a roundtable discussion was organized with the participation of citizens of Uzbekistan residing in Aarhus and its surrounding areas. Compatriots were provided with information on the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan across various sectors, particularly on priority areas of state policy aimed at consolidating compatriots abroad, addressing their concerns, and providing comprehensive support.

As part of the visit, an off-site consular reception was also organized for compatriots, during which relevant consular and legal consultations and services were provided.

Following the meeting, a plan of activities scheduled for implementation in 2026 was agreed upon.
