Tourism and Cultural Potential of Uzbekistan showcased in Eindhoven

In the Netherlands, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Brussels, in cooperation with the Compatriots Fund and the Eindhoven Library, organized a cultural and educational event aimed at promoting the tourism potential, national heritage, and modern appeal of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Event was attended by representatives of the Uzbek diaspora, the Dutch side, as well as public and cultural circles. Program included the “Zakovat” intellectual game, a presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism opportunities, and a demonstration of national cultural elements.
During the presentation, participants were provided with information about the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, its ancient cities, traditions of hospitality, handicraft art, gastronomy and opportunities for foreign tourists. Particular attention was paid to cultural and educational tourism, national traditions and the country's unique handicraft heritage.
Within the framework of the event, a stand was organized with samples of handmade national clothing and ikat products, which made it possible to vividly demonstrate the authenticity of Uzbek design, the richness of textile traditions and the high level of craftsmanship.
Presentation materials were also placed at the Eindhoven Library for distribution among the foreign audience. Representatives of the Library expressed interest in further developing cooperation with the Uzbek side. Special interest was shown in fairy tales by Uzbek authors, children's literature, as well as historical and fictional works.
Event became a practical step toward strengthening the positive image of Uzbekistan as an open, dynamically developing, and attractive tourist destination and also contributed to increasing the country's visibility among the local audience and reinforcing ties with compatriots abroad.
