OMSK, February 12. /Dunyo IA/. During his visit to the Russian city of Omsk, the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, Aslam Akbarov, visited a compatriot receiving medical treatment after sustaining industrial injuries from a fall from a three-meter height in September 2025, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The Consul General, together with a representative of the Migration Agency, also held discussions with the attending physician and the head of the Trauma Department at the Clinical Medical and Surgical Center of the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region.

At present, the patient is being kept on total life support systems. It should be noted that the doctors and medical staff at this medical center are showing genuine care, treating our compatriot attentively and making every effort to maintain his vital functions.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached that, given the patient’s critical condition, the Russian side will not demand payment for further medical treatment.

The situation remains under the personal supervision of the Consul General of Uzbekistan.
