JEDDAH, February 15. /"Dunyo" IA/. The first Uzbek restaurant "Al-Urz wa al-Kabab" ("Rice and Meat") opened in the city of Madina.

For residents of Saudi Arabia and guests from all over the world, the restaurant has become a point of acquaintance with Uzbek national cuisine, traditions, and the culture of the Uzbek people.
Dishes in the restaurant are served using traditional Uzbek tableware. Additionally, the restaurant features special monitors in all corners, displaying videos showcasing Uzbekistan’s socio-economic life, cities, traditions, history, and tourist attractions to foreign guests.
The restaurant was opened by our compatriots Abror Akmalov and the famous chef Bakhriddin Chustiy living in Saudi Arabia.
Plans are in place to open branches in Jeddah and Mecca once the restaurant attracts enough customers.
Employees of the Consulate General of our country in Jeddah assist entrepreneurs in filling the restaurant thematically with presentation materials.
