Rome hosts next round of “Zakovat” Intellectual Competition

• 119ROME, February 17. /Dunyo IA/. Students from various cities across Italy gathered at the main campus of Sapienza University of Rome to take part in another round of the intellectual competition “Zakovat”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized at the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in cooperation with activists of the Uzbek Community in Italy, Sapienza University and the Zakovat Club.
The intellectual contest was held in three stages: the first, “Zakovat QUIZ” consisted of six dynamic rounds; the second, “Zakovat Questions”; and the third, “Blitz Questions” where participants responded to the most unexpected and challenging tasks. Each round tested erudition, speed of thought and team ingenuity.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Italy, Abat Fayzullayev, speaking at the awards ceremony, highlighted the government’s youth policy aimed at improving the quality of education, as well as the attention given to students studying abroad.
The winners of the Rome League were the teams “Fiat 500” which took first place, “Infinity” in second place and “Students of the Ministry” in third place. The winning teams were awarded trophies, honorary medals, special certificates and cash prizes from the “Zakovat” Intellectual Club.
In addition, students who actively contributed to organizing the competition, including through photography and video production, received special certificates from the Embassy.
Participants noted the high level of organization, the substantive content and the festive atmosphere of the competition, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to take part.
