Uzbek students in Debrecen receive briefing from diplomats on safety and migration regulations

DEBRECEN, March 3. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of Uzbekistan held a meeting with compatriots temporarily residing in the Hungarian city of Debrecen, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on the rules of stay in the host country, the procedures and significance of consular registration, as well as key aspects of consular and legal assistance.
Particular attention was devoted to issues concerning the rights and obligations of citizens and the protection of their legitimate interests. Consular officers also held a separate meeting with Uzbek students pursuing their studies in Hungary.
The meeting with students was conducted in an open and constructive dialogue format, during which the importance of consular registration and the strict observance of the host country’s migration regulations were thoroughly explained.
In addition, compatriots were urged not to fall under the influence of various religious movements and groups promoting radical ideas, and the importance of remaining vigilant and attentive at all times was emphasized. In the event of any suspicious or concerning situations, particular stress was placed on the need to promptly contact the relevant structures of the Embassy. These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens and safeguarding their rights and legitimate interests.
At the conclusion of the event, comprehensive clarifications were provided on all issues raised, with renewed emphasis placed on the strict observance of applicable legislation and the rules governing stay in the host country.
In addition, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, students studying in Debrecen were presented with traditional national dishes, including plov, accompanied by wishes of success in their academic pursuits and future professional endeavours, as well as expressions of goodwill.
