SEOUL, September 18. /Dunyo IA/. Soongsil University in South Korea hosted the opening ceremony of a joint intensive professional development program for specialists from Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Program was organized at the initiative of the “Uzeltexsanoat” Association, with 20 Uzbek specialists taking part. The training will run from September 15^th to November 14^th and encompasses theoretical and practical preparation in the semiconductor field.

Ceremony featured speeches by Moon Yong, Vice President of the University, Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the Board of the “Uzeltexsanoat” Association, Dae Bong, CEO of “MetaOnTech”, as well as program participants.

During the remarks, special emphasis was placed on human resource development, studying the advanced experience of South Korea and enhancing Uzbekistan’s national competencies in “IC Design” (integrated circuit design) and “APT” (Assembly, Packaging, and Testing) related to semiconductor components.

Participants also discussed expanding technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea in the semiconductor sector.
