A Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Israel

TEL AVIV, June 16. /Dunyo IA/.  An online signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Holon Institute of Technology and the New Uzbekistan University has been held, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

 The document establishes a framework for developing interaction between the two higher education institutions in the fields of education, scientific research, academic exchanges and innovative activities.

From the Israeli side, the event was attended by the President of the Holon Institute of Technology Professor Eduard Yakubov and Ambassador of Israel to Uzbekistan Gideon Lustig.

Uzbek side was represented by the Vice-Rector for International and Academic Affairs of the New Uzbekistan University, Dr. Azizbek Marakhimov and Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Israel Jakhongir Aminov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of academic mobility programs for students and faculty, conducting joint scientific research projects, organizing international conferences and developing educational initiatives.

It was emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum will contribute to the further strengthening of Uzbek-Israeli cooperation in the sphere of education and science, as well as the expansion of direct ties between the leading universities of the two countries.
