Türkiye offers a new logistics route for exports from Uzbekistan

ANKARA, October 6. /Dunyo IA/. With the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Türkiye, a visit of representatives from the “LimakPort” port to Uzbekistan is scheduled for October 17–21st, 2026, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings are planned with representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Customs Committee, and the business community. Primary attention will be focused on presenting the capabilities of the “LimakPort” port and discussing prospects for expanding logistics cooperation, including the organization of alternative routes for the delivery of Uzbek products to foreign markets.

During the meetings, Turkish side is expected to present the infrastructure and service capabilities of the port, and practical issues regarding the transportation of specific cargo types, terms of cooperation and opportunities for optimizing logistics costs will be reviewed.

Located on the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye, the “LimakPort” Iskenderun features a container terminal, railway connection, warehousing infrastructure, and a comprehensive range of cargo handling and storage services. This enables the port to be utilized both for the export of finished products from Uzbekistan and for import supplies.

Infrastructure of “LimakPort” could also be in demand among exporters of textile products and ready-made garments, as well as importers of equipment and components.
