PRAGUE, October 7. /Dunyo IA/. With the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, an online consultation meeting was held between representatives of state and professional organizations of the two countries on the recognition of national qualification certificates and diplomas, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Main focus was placed on the recognition of professional qualifications of specialists working in Uzbekistan, primarily architects and construction engineers, as well as the requirements for them to practice their profession in the Czech Republic.
On the Uzbek side, discussion was attended by representatives of the embassy and the consular section, Anvar Allabergenov, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, Director of the Institute for the Development of National Qualification System and relevant specialists.
The Czech side was represented by officials from the Ministry of Regional Development, the Czech Chamber of Architects (ČKA) and the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians Active in Construction (ČKAIT).
Participants examined in detail the specifics of the Czech system for recognizing professional qualifications. As noted by the Czech side, there is no single centralized body in the country responsible for the recognition of qualifications across all professions and the relevant powers for a number of regulated professions in the construction sector have been transferred to professional chambers.
Issues regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for other specialties outside the construction industry are planned to be discussed separately with the competent state authorities of the Czech Republic.
For further practical work, Institute for the Development of the National System of Qualifications of Uzbekistan will prepare and submit to the embassy a comparative analysis of qualification certificates used in Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, including their levels, content, and requirements.
It is expected that this material will be used to continue consultations with competent Czech organizations on the recognition of specific qualifications.
Parties also agreed to maintain working contacts, establish a direct exchange of information, and further discuss qualification recognition issues directly with representatives of the respective Czech organizations.
