MINSK, September 26. /Dunyo IA/.  International B2B meeting “UzTextile Mission 2026”, which brought together 120 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Belarus, was held in Minsk, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Participants discussed issues concerning the mutual supply of raw materials and finished goods, industrial cooperation and the launch of joint projects in the textile, garment and knitwear industries.

During the meeting, it was noted that the two countries possess complementary manufacturing capabilities. Uzbekistan has a developed raw material and production base, including the deep processing of cotton and the production of yarn, fabrics and finished garments, whereas Belarus possesses substantial industrial expertise, including the production of linen and woollen textiles.

Special attention was paid to the export potential of the Uzbek textile industry. Enterprises in the sector annually supply products worth more than 3 billion dollars to over 80 countries worldwide, with more than 100 new textile enterprises opening in the country each year.

During the official segment, representatives of “Bellegprom”, “Uztextileprom” Association and organizing company “EXPOGATE” signed a cooperation agreement.

Following this, direct B2B negotiations were held between companies from the two nations. Uzbek manufacturers of yarn, knitwear, home textiles, and garments discussed mutual supplies, industrial cooperation and the prospects of joint projects with their Belarusian partners.

As a result of the meeting, the parties concluded direct contracts between business representatives of Uzbekistan and Belarus.
