WARSAW, September 21. /Dunyo IA/. Specialists from the Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems of Uzbekistan are undergoing a six-month internship and exchange of experience at the Polish company “Green Crops”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the practical training, the Uzbek specialists are studying the Polish experience in the rational use of water resources, the application of modern water-saving technologies, soil monitoring, and the cultivation of agricultural crops with reduced water consumption.

Participants are also familiarizing themselves with the practice of utilizing drip irrigation systems, modern sensors, remote monitoring tools, and agricultural drones.

Following the training, it is planned to develop proposals for adapting advanced technologies to the natural, climatic and soil conditions of Uzbekistan, increasing water-use efficiency and more widely implementing innovative solutions in agriculture.
