Tashkent and Belgrade explore new cultural and municipal partnerships

BELGRADE, December 22. /Dunyo IA/. In the Serbian capital, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Serbia, residing in Budapest, Oybek Shakhavdinov, and the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Vesna Vidojevic, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation at both municipal and cultural levels. Topics included the potential naming of streets in honor of Uzbekistan and Serbia, as well as opportunities to organize cultural and artistic events, including exhibitions of Uzbekistan in Belgrade.
As a next step, the sides agreed to conduct negotiations between the relevant institutions of both countries to finalize details of joint projects.
