VLADIVOSTOK, October 9. /Dunyo IA/.   Diplomats of the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok met with the Deputy Minister of Vocational Education and Employment of the Primorsky Krai Larisa Khasbutdinova, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Parties reviewed the issues of providing consular and legal assistance to citizens of Uzbekistan studying in local colleges and lyceums, as well as providing educational grants for youth from the regions of Uzbekistan assigned to the General Consulate.

Larisa Khasbutdinova expressed readiness to facilitate the establishment of partnership relations between the technical schools of the city of Zarafshan in the Navoi region and the Bekabad district of the Tashkent region with the vocational educational institutions of the Primorsky Krai. The possibility of signing a memorandum on interregional cooperation in the field of education was also discussed.

In addition, Russian side announced plans to invite the directors of technical schools from Zarafshan and Bekabad to the Primorsky Krai to exchange experience and familiarize themselves with the work of local educational institutions.

At the same time, it was noted that at the regional level, the provision of grants for youth from the territories assigned to the General Consulate is not yet provided. Educational grants are allocated exclusively at the federal level.
