ANKARA, October 8. /Dunyo IA/.  With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a memorandum of cooperation has been signed between Vocational College No. 2 of Ishtikhan District, Samarkand Region, and “Şehit Mehmet Karakaşoğlu Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi” in Ankara, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, a delegation from Ishtikhon familiarized themselves with the organization of the educational process and practical training at the lyceum, and held discussions with its leadership regarding the implementation of joint programs.

Memorandum provides for the exchange of experience in training specialists in the fields of construction and finishing works, electrical engineering and energy, welding, furniture production, plumbing and climate control systems.

Document also entails conducting seminars and masterclasses for educators, joint practical projects for students, the exchange of educational and methodological materials, and, subject to availability, short-term practical exchange visits.

Cooperation aims to enhance the qualifications of teaching staff and develop students' practical skills in accordance with the demands of the labor market.

Embassy of Uzbekistan in Türkiye continues its efforts to establish partnerships between other vocational schools of the country and professional education institutions of Türkiye.
