While our athletes were awarded three medals on September 26, in today's competitions, 2 gold and 1 bronze medals have been secured so far.

In the men's kurash competition in the +90 kg weight category, Shokhrukhkhon Bakhtiyorov and Bekmurod Oltiboev, representing Uzbekistan, faced each other in the semifinals. Shokhrukhkhon Bakhtiyorov secured the victory and advanced to the final, while Bekmurod Oltiboev won the bronze medal.

In the final match, Shokhrukhkhon Bakhtiyorov competed against Shakarmamad Mirmamadov from Tajikistan. Our compatriot secured a confident 5:0 victory, becoming the champion of the Asian Games. This marked the 10^th gold medal for the delegation of Uzbekistan at the tournament.

In the women's -57 kg weight category, Ibodatkhon Agojonova also defeated all her opponents and advanced to the final. In the decisive match, she competed against Wan-Ting Lee of Taiwan, winning with a score of 3:0 to become the winner of the Asian Games.

Thus, the total number of medals in the tally of the delegation of Uzbekistan has reached 37. Among them, 10 are gold, 17 are silver and 10 are bronze medals.

In football, Uzbekistan will face Japan in the semifinals. The match for a place in the final will commence on September 30^th at 15:30 Tashkent time.

Currently, Uzbekistan ranks fourth in the overall team standings. In today's competition program, athletes from 22 countries of the continent competed for the Asian Games championship in the -57 kg and +90 kg weight categories of kurash.
